R. Bruce Hitchner
R. Bruce Hitchner is the Chairman of the Dayton Peace Accords
Project and Director of the Boston branch of the Public International
Law and Policy Group. Since 1997, Dr. Hitchner has organized international
conferences, workshops, business-to-business projects, and roundtables
on Dayton implementation, the Hague Tribunal, Serbia and Montenegro,
Kosovo, U.S.-Balkan policy, and NATO involvement in the region.
He is the co-author with Marshall Harris and Paul Williams of
Making Justice Work (Century Foundation) and has published op-eds
in the Wall Street Journal, Washington Times, Dayton Daily News,
and War and Peace Reporting. Dr. Hitchner was a Laurance S. Rockefeller
Fellow at the Center for Human Values at Princeton University.
He also served as Director of the Center for International Programs
at the University of Dayton from 1996 to 2001. He is currently
the Chair of the Classics Department at Tufts University, Medford,
MA.
Dr. Mirza Kusljugic
Prior to entering politic and the diplomatic service, Dr. Kusljugic
served as dean of the University of Tuzla, School of Electrical
Engineering and as associate professor, Theory of Systems. From
1998 to 2000 Dr. Mirza Kusljugic was a member of the Municipal
Council of Tuzla Municipality, Tuzla and he served as elected
member of the parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina, House of Representatives.
From 2001 to 2005 he was an Ambassador and Permanent Representative
of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the United Nations. Today he lives
in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
