Focus Groups are established to network people of common interests, and are defined as a network of professionals and an outlet for application and exchange of skills and knowledge. Current Focus Groups appoint their own Head of Focus Groups in consultation with the Board of Directors.
Members have the right to join a specific existing Focus Group by requesting membership from the Head of the Focus Group who makes the decision based on the need of the Focus Group and applicant's qualifications.

The Architectural and Urban Development Group (AUDG) is a Focus Group of the Academy of Bosnia and Herzegovina committed to generating a network of architects, engineers, planners, builders, architectural designers, interior designers and educators in the field of Architecture and Urban Planning. The AUDG's purpose is to support and advance architectural and urban development knowledge and to develop advocacy on various architectural and urban development issues in Bosnia Herzegovina and abroad through program and/or project participations. For purposes of preserving and promoting Bosnian and Herzegovinian past and contemporary art and advancing creative process' of BiH artists, the Academy is conducting an Art Studio Group that would help galvanize the interest of artists from BiH or artists with BiH as their relevant art subject, and promote active participation in defining and pursuing relevant programs.

As the recent conflict in Bosnian has come to an end, global attention has been steadily declining on the subject of Bosnian State. Therefore, the Academy of Bosnia and Herzegovina has initiated a Civic Diplomacy Focus Group to voice opinion on burning issues of Bosnian Statehood. The purpose the group is to develop and propose action steps to protect and advance interests of Bosnian State and its constructive relations with the United States. (more)
