The Architectural and Urban Development Group (AUDG) is a Focus
Group of the Academy of Bosnia and Herzegovina committed to generating
a network of architects, engineers, planners, builders, architectural
designers, interior designers and educators in the field of Architecture
and Urban Planning. The AUDG’s purpose is to support and
advance architectural and urban development knowledge and to develop
advocacy on various architectural and urban development issues
in Bosnia Herzegovina and abroad through program and/or project
participations.
Current issues:
1. Architectural and urban development education of Bosnian-Herzegovinian
community in US and B-H.
2. Existing and future programs for preservation of Bosnian-Herzegovinian
architectural heritage.
3. Past, current and future urban development trends and urban
phenomena in Bosnia and Herzegovina and in the world.
4. Cooperation between professionals in fields of architecture
and urban planning in B-H and in the world
Initial Activities:
1. Organizing and mobilizing Bosnian-Herzegovinian architectural
professionals and urban planners
2. Creating teams for purposes of studying and defining policies
and recommendations for urban and architectural development
of Bosnia and Herzegovina in its post war period.
3. Creating links and cooperation with individuals and organizations
active in programs for preservation of Bosnian-Herzegovinian
architectural heritage.
4. Preparing exhibitions, presentations, forums and other communiqués
in order to support education and raise awareness on current
architectural and urban development issues and trends in Bosnia
and Herzegovina, among Bosnian-Herzegovinian and American community
in New York area.
5. Collectively or individually taking part in architectural
and urban design competitions, both local and international.

ABH joins Coalition for the International Criminal Court The
Academy of Bosnia and Herzegovina supports internationalization
and a fair, effective and independent International Criminal
Court.The ABH joined over 2.000 other NGOs in the Coalition
for the International Criminal Court (CICC).
The ABH's Architectural and Urban Development Group joined the
CICC's Issue Team on the Future Premises of the International
Criminal Court.Become a member of this Focus Group and contribute
to the architectural process of this historic establishment.
