For purposes of preserving and promoting Bosnian and Herzegovinian
past and contemporary art and advancing creative process’
of BiH artists, the Academy is conducting an Art Studio Group
that would help galvanize the interest of artists from BiH or
artists with BiH as their relevant art subject, and promote active
participation in defining and pursuing relevant programs
All individuals involved in music, painting, sculpting, photography,
film, digital design or other art related activity who are stemming
from BiH or are working on an art project with BiH as its relevant
subject are invited to contact us.Initial objectives of the Art
Studio Group are:
1. To moderate a digital space for presentation of artists from
Bosnia and Herzegovina and/or artists with BiH as their subject.
2. To moderate artists selection process for membership in Art
Studio Group for official featuring under sponsorship of the Academy
3. To exchange experiences, knowledge and ideas
4. To pursue specific programs, seek funding and ensure sustainability
of the Art
Studio Group Long Term goals of the Art Studio Group are:
1. To create an educated jury whose opinions and critical thinking
would influence creative directions of artists’ future works
2. To define a distinctive artistic language of artists from BiH
and evaluate impacts of past and present works of art on that
language.
3. To define and promote artistic trends influencing artists from
BiH and/or artist with BiH as their subject.
4. To work towards acquiring space in New York area for members
of Art Studio
Focus Group where artists, can work and display their work for

Digital Space Presentations is one of the activities of the
Art Studio Group. Its purpose is to collect information about
Bosnian artists or artists whose subject is Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The intention is to create a database that will bring more exposure
to artist and issues surrounding Bosnia and Herzegovina as well
as function as a common space for interchanges of ideas.
Academy of Bosnia and Herzegovina regularly consults this database
when creating and planning programs to provide even broader
exposure to artists.
